Cornish College of the Arts is expanding its courses to those who aren't enrolled as students through its new extension program, Cornish Plus. The Cornish design department was asked to have its students design branding and marketing materials for its new extension program. Award-winning design director Bill Flora directed this project alongside Ux researcher Jacob Fleisher.

I worked with eleven of my peers to create three distinct design directions for the Cornish Plus extension program. Each member picked a direction to focus on. I contributed to our team by my research, experimentation with assets, and working alongside my peer, Alisha Langley, to create the final deliverables and assets. The goal for our design direction is to reflect Cornish’s approachable yet visionary personality. For the deliverables, I designed the final newspaper ad and Bus signage. This project was a valuable collaboration experience that explored multiple design solutions and provided learning about brand identity.
The project began by creating three differentiated mood boards for Cornish Plus branding, each representing a unique visual direction based on specific personality traits and user benefits. These mood boards were designed to explore a broad range of possibilities while maintaining a focused, consistent visual identity for each direction, incorporating elements like color, typography, and imagery. After receiving feedback, the mood boards were refined, and the process continued with the creation of logos, lock-ups, bylines, and applications, using Figma to present the designs and demonstrate how feedback was integrated into the final concepts.
